Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (936) 703-3603. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is efreesonmain.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 73 reviews, which is a strong result for a tea shop in Conroe and suggests consistent service.

Conroe is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. EFree’s on Main is such a special addition to our community! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. I was graciously invited by the owner, Erika to recite a monologue during an in-house event, and it was such an honor to be part of such a meaningful celebration. While I was there, I treated myself to the Big Tea Energy blend, a delicious combination of Kenyan black tea and spices. I was also able to sample and take home their Juneteenth Blend, featuring watermelon and herbal green tea, and it was absolutely delightful. We also used the Juneteenth Blend along with Erika’s mocktail recipe to make a special watermelon punch for a friend’s housewarming party. The moment we poured the tea in to steep, the guests started raving about how amazing it smelled. The finished punch was a huge hit, and everyone loved it! What truly sets EFree’s apart, though, is the atmosphere. They have created a space that is welcoming, encouraging, and filled with joy. My friend and I left feeling uplifted, not just because of the wonderful tea, but because of the kindness and encouragement shared with us. It is rare to find a business where you leave

We love EFree’s On Main and when our friend came to visit from San Diego, we wanted to share the joy of this shop with her. Our friend is also deaf, and as it was raining, had taken off her cochlear implants. She and my wife were signing to each other as we entered the store and the young lady on duty, Addison, greeted us in ASL. We were all blown away and it made our friend feel incredibly welcome. Addison continued to wow us as she explained all the various types of tea and provided us with samples. Thank you, Addison and EFree’s On Main, for being so wonderful and inclusive to various members of the community.

This tea shop is the cutest and the owner makes you feel like you’re just catching up with an old friend. She makes you feel so welcome and explains all the tea ingredients and their purpose. She also always has a hot tea and ice tea to try while you are browsing and smelling all the teas. All the teas I have tried so far have been so delightful. She also carries anything you need to brew tea. So its the one stop TEA STOP 🫖 My favorite tea has to be her Save the Last Nerve tea blend. It is so nice to enjoy after work and helps me unwind before bed. I even came back a week later to bring my mother because I could not stop raving about the teas. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend any of her teas. They have really helped me ❤️

Full disclosure, I have never been a tea drinker. In my youth I loved my grandma's southern, super sweet iced tea, but stopped liking tea altogether in my adulthood. Turns out I needed Erika to introduce me to her tea blends! Each of her samples has been delicious and I find myself enjoying my morning teas instead of coffee as well as my night time tea to relax and unwind. Erika is very knowledgeable about all the teas and will help you find your new favorite blend. I am a regular customer and always look forward to the new samples and her tips. Everyone at her small shop is so wonderful and treats you like a friend. Be sure and stop by!!
